BREAKING: Incredible KO Video On NAFTA-GATE
Thu Mar 06, 2008 at 08:34:23 PM PDT
This is an incredible story that's developing rapidly. Most importantly go and watch this video as soon as you can. There is an INCREDIBLE effort under way to squash this piece of video and that's a fascinating story in itself.
Very damning stuff for the Clinton campaign, and it's clear that the Clinton people are trying to eradicate this footage from the face of the earth. It's been multiply deleted from YouTube, etc. GO AND WATCH THIS. Sorry for the brevity, but time is of the essence!
Clinton Tries To Spin Away Obama Fundraising
Thu Feb 07, 2008 at 11:59:44 AM PDT
This is interesting. Clearly the Clinton camp is feeling pretty threatened by the recent impromptu turkee-gathering efforts undertaken by the netroots.
Their angle? "Obama has raised a lot more money because he has MoveOn.org helping him out." The problem with this claim? It isn't even close to being true.

You Have To See It To Believe It
Tue Jan 29, 2008 at 10:06:50 AM PDT
We all know Team Clinton has been working overtime to exploit racial divisions between Americans I didn't even know existed. Even to the point of an AP article last week, which said:
"Clinton strategists believe that the lopsided win in South Carolina could have the negative effect of labeling Obama the "Black Candidate". Which was pretty hard to take.
Now, Alec Baldwin, in a very intriguing column on Huffington Post, reports on a truly horrible editorial piece mocking Obama in the Hamptons. Please put on your galoshes as we are about to see something that's truly beyond belief. Follow me if you dare...
Cheney Impeachment: To 130K and Beyond!
Fri Dec 21, 2007 at 04:32:45 PM PDT
Congressman Wexler's impeachment petition continues to astonish. The petition is still in its first week, but is about to exceed 130,000 signatures.
Please take the time to sign the petition, if you haven't already. Cheney impeachment is on the receiving end of an incredible media blackout, and if we "netroots" people don't help, nothing will happen.
Remember that the situation was much the same back in 1973. Impeachment charges against Nixon were filed in the House of Representatives, and then widely ignored by Congress, just like what's happening right now. An outcry from the enraged public finally forced Congress to act.
Think of what different lives we all might have had if the American people had not DEMANDED impeachment for Nixon. Now, things are worse. Richard Bruce Cheney has committed treason as well as other crimes too numerous to mention.
We have a rare opportunity to make a difference. Let's make sure Congress knows how we feel. Please go and sign the petition! You can sign in just a few seconds, and you don't have to divulge much of your info.
Cheney Impeachment Petition Surpasses 100K!
Wed Dec 19, 2007 at 01:05:13 PM PDT
The next milestone has been reached.. The petition put on line by Rep. Robert Wexler has surpassed the 100,000 mark. It's time for action.
Please take the time to sign the petition, if you haven't already. Cheney impeachment is on the receiving end of a colossal media blackout, and if we "netroots" people don't help, nothing will happen.
Remember that the situation was much the same back in 1973. Impeachment charges against Nixon were filed in the House of Representatives, and then widely ignored by Congress, just like what's happening right now. An outcry from the enraged public finally forced Congress to act.
Think of what different lives we all would have had if the American people had not DEMANDED impeachment for Nixon. Now, things are worse. Richard Bruce Cheney has committed treason as well as other crimes too numerous to mention. Crimes we haven't even heard about yet, to go along with all the others we already know about.
We have a rare opportunity to make a difference. Let's make sure Congress knows how we feel. Please go and sign the petition!
Sen. Durbin (D-IL) Stands Up For America!
Fri Sep 07, 2007 at 02:16:05 PM PDT
There has been a lot of grousing about our Capitulation Democrats these past few days. And deservedly so, in my opinion. But Assistant Senate Majority Leader Dick Durbin (D-IL) has just stood up for America, our troops, and what's right. Details after the flip:
HELP - My Kos Is Klogged!
Mon Sep 03, 2007 at 09:04:17 PM PDT
This is a cry for help. I am a regular lurker here and have been for years. Suddenly, as of last Thursday, dailykos.com and any linked pages won't load most of the time.
My browser (Firefox 2.0.0.1 on Linux) usually stalls early in the page load, displaying something like "waiting for banners.blogads.com".
There is something very wrong in Kos website-land. My internet connection and DNS are fine and work for all other websites.
How many others are having trouble? Please let us know in the comments.
Is Iran Holding Bush's Attack Hostage?
Mon Apr 02, 2007 at 08:43:47 AM PDT
I have been extremely perplexed by the timing and substance of the British-sailors-taken-hostage development. I have been scratching my head, wondering why on earth Iran would conceivably do this at this particular moment.
Then, on a CNN interview yesterday Senator Diane Feinstein said this:
Another guest, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), criticizes hints of military force during a time of sensitive diplomatic negations for the safe return of 15 British sailors that have been detained by Iran. "Cooler heads have to prevail," she says.
Interesting, no? Now let's also not forget that we have 2 carrier groups that just arrived in the Gulf, and wide reports from numerous sources that Good Friday weekend was supposed to be "it" - the date of the attack.
Doesn't it seem like this hostage-taking effort might be a way for Iran to forestall the Bush attack? The warmongers believe that they only have a few months' "weather window" in the spring to do the deed. But if Britain and Iran are negotiating over hostages....
CAUGHT! Bush Admits Rumsfeld Lie
Wed Nov 08, 2006 at 08:26:00 PM PDT
Last week we all shook our heads in amazement as Bush proclaimed that Rumsfeld would "stay on no matter what" for the rest of the BushCo regime. After all, Rumsfeld has done a "fantastic job". So said Bush last week.
Obviously, today there was a big reversal on that element of Der Decider's Stay The Course strategy - Bush announced the appointment of the legendary Iran/Contra murderer Robert Gates to the Secretary of Defense post.
Did Bush lie about Rumsfeld?? Why yes, in fact he did. And Bush admitted it today.
What. An. Ass.
CT-Sen Dodd Appearing With Lamont Sat/Sun
Sat Nov 04, 2006 at 09:28:29 PM PDT
HALLELUJAH.
Many of us thought it never would happen. We thought that Senator Dodd would give Lamont the same stand-off treatment he's received from Hillary, Boxer, Schumer, Obama, Reid and so many others.
WRONG. Senator Dodd actually HAS the principles that Lieberman's always crowing about, and is even acting on them. I'm sure that there's a lot of pressure on top Democrats not to lend support to Lamont. But Senator Dodd is helping anyway.
Dodd is campaigning with Lamont in Connecticut.
Many of us - especially me - have been rankled by the Democratic leadership's unwillingness to back Lamont. And we've been burning up the Senate phones and faxes, calling Dodd and other prominent Democrats to action in the critical Connecticut senate race. Did our nagging help? We will never know, but...
Let's never forget that Chris Dodd stepped up to help the next Junior Senator from Connecticut when it counted most.
My heartfelt thanks to all of the netroots community who participated in Nag-A-Thon 2006, our "telecommunications project" aimed at getting leading Democrats to show visible and vocal support for Lamont.
CT-Sen: Lieberman Paid 18-Year Old Girl $17,550
Thu Nov 02, 2006 at 07:09:53 PM PDT
BREAKING:
It seems that Shaquasia Goldsby, of Hartford, has some special electoral skills that are worth paying her company, Urban Voters & Associates over 17,000 for. There is nothing wrong with a young entrepreneur starting up a business, but this business seems very odd. I am not sure why the mainstream press, other than the Hartford Courant, has not picked up on this story. Below is a link to the story in the Courant. No need for me go into much more detail here, please use the link.
Please urge your local papers (and tv stations) to look into this mess!!
This Lieberman vote fraud scandal just gets weirder and weirder..

CT-Sen: "People Power Petering Out?"
Tue Oct 31, 2006 at 11:18:10 AM PDT
It's the eleventh day of our riches-to-rags story. The lights and heat are still on, our
tubez are still up, and we still have a good supply of "mac and cheese" in the cupboard -
we're still good to go!
Please join our $100/day Initiative!
About 11 days ago, Joe Lieberman quipped to reporters that "Lamont's people power is petering out". That comment ticked a lot of people off, even out here in the southwest. That was when we decided to send Lieberman a message - by contributing $100.01 to the Lamont campaign each and every day. This is our eleventh straight day. You can help us send this message to Joe by contributing your dough to get Ned Lamont to the Senate.
Contribute here!
Contrary to what you might expect, the Lamont campaign needs our cash the most right now. People power is critical, but the COLD HARD CASH to back them up is invaluable too. Let's get this done. Contribute now, my friends!!
ACTION ITEM: Ask Boxer to FIGHT Lieberman Corruption
Fri Oct 27, 2006 at 03:49:49 PM PDT
We're continuing our campaign to get the word out to Senator Boxer about the importance of making a stand against the "culture of corruption" Lieberman has brought to Connecticut.
PLEASE HELP US - by writing an email or a fax of your own. If you don't have time for that, please call Boxer's senate office (number below) and let her know what you think. Today I've included a copy of the fax I'm sending to Boxer's offices. Please feel free to use it as the basis for a fax/email of your own!
Sample Letter and contact info after the jump...
ACTION ITEM: Ask Boxer to Support Lamont
Tue Oct 24, 2006 at 10:36:07 AM PDT
I believe, as some others do, that Barbara Boxer may be someone we can persuade (guile) into doing the right thing. Boxer's progressive instincts are pretty strong, and she actually might cease her fence-sitting if enough of our voices are raised.
Don't you think it's worth a try? Here is my letter to Boxer, and her contact info beneath. Please feel free to base a letter of your own on what I've done. If you don't have time for that, please call her at the number beneath the fold!
(202) 224-2823
Fri Oct 06, 2006 at 10:02:40 AM PDT
Now that Lieberman has come out in support of the enablers of child predation, I'm really pissed.
I just called Chris Dodd, the Senior CT senator to express my concern that Lieberman seems to care a lot more about Denny Hastert than the safety of our children.
I pleaded with his office to provide visible, vocal support for the Democrat in this race, and to campaign with Lamont.
Please, if you can spare a moment, make a quick call yourself, especially if you're in CT. It really will help.
Once again, the number is (202) 224-2823. Please ask Senator Dodd to stand up for what's right.
LTTE on Lieberman - CRITIQUE NEEDED
Thu Sep 28, 2006 at 12:15:12 PM PDT
I am starting my own LTTE campaign, and I plan to do a lot of letters on Joe Lieberman and the Senate race in Connecticut. I am writing this diary because I need some constructive criticism - I need to learn how to write these letters properly so they'll get accepted by the Connecticut newspapers.
My first attempt, after the jump:
Joe Lieberman, Calling In Sick (UPDATED)
Fri Sep 22, 2006 at 02:34:13 PM PDT
The Lamont Team has just released a
really great new radio ad, that simply has to be heard to be believed. It's hilarious. The premise is Joe Lieberman calling in sick to the senate, with a gaggle of different cockamamie excuses, unable to vote.
I think it's a very hard-hitting ad that deals effectively with the important subject of Joe's chronic vote-skipping. As an added bonus, it's very funny too. I'm impressed. Please check it out!
What do YOU think about this ad?
Update:
The transcript to this great ad is now available. You can view the transcript here.
MN-Sen Kennedy Fakes Website Hack
Thu Sep 21, 2006 at 02:44:23 PM PDT
In a truly remarkable replay of August 8th, Mark Kennedy has stolen a page out of "GOP" Joe Lieberman's playbook by faking a "website hack". Just as with Joe Lieberman, this is a campaign stunt intended to smear the opponent. Even the language used on the "hack announcement" page is strikingly similar to Joe's on August 8th.
You can see for yourself what I'm talking about. First, go to Mark Kennedy's home page and you can see their "Lieberman style" hack announcement.
Then, you can see for yourself that the site is really still there by clicking on this link, and immediately hitting your browser's Stop button before being redirected to their "Lieberman hack page".
A technical summary of this chicanery can be viewed at DFLSenate
This is pathetic. And we need to speak up about this. You can contact the vile Mark Kennedy campaign at this phone number:
(651) 644-2506
And be sure to contribute to Amy Klobuchar, she needs our help given that her opposition is THAT corrupt:
